Naam Shabana (English: Name is Shabana) is an up and coming 2017 Indian action spy thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and created by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks flag. It is a prequel/turn off from the 2015 film Baby with Taapsee Pannu repeating her part as Shabana. The movie is planned for release on 31 March 2017. The film will be release in Tamil and Telugu.

Nam Shabana Story Line:

Bollywood's first thought on turn off's Naam Shabana unfurls the backstory of Shabana from the greatly adored activity spy thriller, Baby. As per sources, Neeraj Pandey's Naam Shabana depends on a real lady - Shabana, who is a spy.

Director Neeraj Pandey took direction from a full time expert, an ex-knowledge officer, who have given every one of the points of interest of the life of a spy notwithstanding sharing many-sided subtle elements of their operations, to add profundity and authenticity to Taapsee Pannu's part in Naam Shabana.
